The Chamber’s largest annual event, the Chamber Celebration gathers members of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce for an event of networking, celebration and vision for the future. The 2020 Annual Chamber Celebration will take place January 24th from 6 PM-11PM at the RiverPark Center. This annual event continues to grow as members see the value and excitement in kicking off the year with the Chamber of Commerce as they recognize the Business of the Year Award Winners. The awards program celebrates outstanding businesses and their efforts.

Poison Ratenstein is in town for a killer concert, but his fans may be looking for a refund after this twisted tour turns tragic with a murder and a mystery to solve. The radical show could be super lame if no one can solve who was buggin’ so everyone can chill and get the show started!
Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner and a live interactive experience of solving a murder crime with a unique theme!
Doors will open at 6:00pm for cocktails. Dinner will start at 6:30pm, followed by the murder mystery.
Your most righteous 80’s concert gear, big hair, bangles, leg warmers, spandex, and ripped jeans will be the dress at this rocking night of mystery. Regular attire will be awesome too.

Denim and Diamonds, WBKR’s 10th annual concert fundraiser for St. Jude is Friday, January 31st, at 7:00 PM at The Empress Theatre, 418 Frederica Street, Owensboro.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary, WBKR decided to commemorate the occasion in the most appropriate way, what better way to raise money for kids . . . than to enlist the help of kids? This year’s theme is Kids 4 Kids and the young cast is absolutely incredible. The cast is loaded with amazing talent including, Dakota Hayden, Courtney Peveler, Annabel Whitledge, Ava Schimp, Zach Leonard, Nikki and Sky Carter, Gavin Howard, and Case Howard. Joined by WBKR’s Chad Benefield and Angel Welsh!
General admission tickets are just $10 per person and are on sale now at the WBKR studios located at 3301 Frederica Street in Owensboro. Tickets will also be available the evening of the show at Theatre Workshop’s Empress Theatre Box Office. The Empress Theatre is located at 418 Frederica Street.

The Whitesville Historical Society will host it’s first annual Native American Artifacts Show on Saturday, February 1, 2020 starting at 8am to noon. The event will be held at the Whitesville Historical Society located at 10143 KY HWY 54 in Whitesville.
This event gives people the chance to learn more about their own Native American finds and collectibles, and view a variety of Native American artifacts with other collectors. Anyone wishing to know more about their artifacts will have a chance to present their items to knowledgeable artifacts specialists at the show. Locals, Jeff Berry, Paul Coomes, Red Boarman, Jason Coomes, Barry Johnson, Daniel Reardon and James Stone will exhibit their collections.
This is a free event, however, donations are appreciated to benefit the Whitesville Historical Society.

The Chamber’s premier event, the Rooster Booster Breakfast, is the first Thursday of every month (with March being an exception due to springbreak) at 7:30 a.m. held in the Owensboro Convention Center. Spend the first hour of your day enjoying a delicious breakfast while networking and listening to important issues pertinent to national, state and local business and government leaders.
