Legendary rock band REO Speedwagon is coming to the Owensboro Sportscenter on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 7:00 PM.
Formed in 1967, signed in 1971, and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon is a band where the main constant over the decades is a never-ending desire to give their all to their fans, year in and year out. The 2020 Six String Song Machine: Country hits songwriter series will kick off February 13 at the historic Empress Theatre, located at 418 Frederica Street, in downtown Owensboro. The concert series includes six shows in 2020, each will feature performances where songwriters tell the stories behind their hit country songs then perform them for an audience as originally written. The shows will be similar to the Nashville’s famous Blue Bird Cafe, where the audience will be able to connect with the songwriter on a much personal level than a normal concert.
For tickets, click on BUY TICKETS on this page or call (270) 683-5333. Tickets are $15.00. Other 2020 performances include April 9, June 18, August 13, October 22 and December 3, all from 7-9 pm. Tickets may be purchased for individual shows or as a subscription package. VIP ticket packages are also available, include preferred seating, a cocktail hour before the show, a meet and greet with the songwriter, and pictures with the songwriter.
