Enjoy free live music along the riverfront every Friday and Saturday evening during Owensboro’s popular summer concert series. Featuring a variety of local and regional musicians, LIVE on the Banks offers a fun, family-friendly atmosphere with nearby restaurants, river views, and plenty of space to bring a lawn chair and relax. Concerts are free and open to the public.

39th Annual U.S. Bank Concert on the Lawn

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headline one of Owensboro’s biggest annual events. Friday Night Flight at the airport features aircraft displays, pilot meet-and-greets, a night air show, and fireworks. Saturday and Sunday offer free aerial performances along the downtown riverfront featuring elite military and civilian aviation teams.
