Gooey marshmallows, rich browned butter, and crunchy Cinnamon Toast Crunch come together for an easy no-bake dessert that’s perfect for after-school snacks, birthday parties, movie nights, or weekend baking with the kids. Cereal Treats
Ingredients
›› 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
›› 1 (10-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
›› 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
›› Pinch of salt
›› 6 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
Directions
1. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the butter becomes golden brown and develops a nutty aroma, about 4–6 minutes. Watch carefully so it doesn’t burn.
3. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the mini marshmallows. Continue stirring until completely melted and smooth.
4. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
5. Gently fold in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal until every piece is evenly coated.
6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Using a lightly buttered spatula or wax paper, gently press the mixture into an even layer. Avoid pressing too firmly to keep the treats soft and chewy.
7. Allow the treats to cool for about 20–30 minutes.
Cinnamon White Chocolate Drizzle
›› 1 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
›› ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring well between each, until smooth. Stir in the ground cinnamon.
2. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cooled cereal treats using a spoon or a piping bag.
3. Let the chocolate set completely before slicing into squares and serving.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days for the best texture.
